Braadspit: nu ook mobiel

Het automatisch en mobiel braadspit is een nieuw SMO-product dat de komende jaren ongetwijfeld een plaatsje zal verwerven op de talloze barbeques en andere eetfestijnen in Vlaanderen.

Het braadspit kan op 2 verschillende manieren gebruikt worden. Langs 1 zijde is er het spit en langs de andere zijde ligt er een barbequerooster van 135 x 40cm. Zodoende kunnen er 2 personen tegelijkertijd op een snelle en vlotte manier een groot aantal bevoorraden.

La broche automatique et mobile est un nouveau produit de SMO, que sans doute qui méritera sa place sur des fêtes et des barbecues les années prochaines en Flandre.

La broche peut être utilisée de deux façons différentes. Le premier côté a une broche et le deuxième côté existe d’un grill du barbecue de 135 x 40 cm. Ainsi, 2 personnes peuvent au même temps rapidement et efficacement servir un grand nombre de personnes.

The automatic and mobile skewer is a new SMO product that will probably earn a place in several barbecues and other eating festivities in Flanders.

The skewer can be used in 2 different ways. On one side there’s a spit, on the other side there’s a barbecue grating of 135 x 40 cm. This way, 2 people can supply a large amount of people in a fast and efficient way at the same time.

SMO – triatlonteam blijft de overwinningen opstapelen

Het voorbije weekend pakte het SMO-team maar liefst 5 medailles op de Belgische kampioenschappen.

In de sprinttriatlon te Antwerpen behaalden Simon De Cuyper (BK Olympische afstand 2008) en Tom Vander Hoogerstraete respectievelijk een zilveren en bronzen plak bij de beloften (heren – 23 jaar).

Op het BK lange afstand te Eupen was er een gouden plak voor Joury Gokel en Sander Dobbelaere bij de beloften (heren – 23 jaar).

Bij de dames pakte Anne-Marie Dupont de derde plaats de regenachtige Oostkantons.
Tevens haalde onze nieuwkomer Hannes Vandermoere een overwinning op de sprintafstand daags voordien aan het stuwmeer te Eupen.

SMO wenst natuurlijk al de atleten proficiat en er wordt nu al uitgekeken naar een grotere vitrinekast want in de huidige is er geen plaats meer.

Le dernier week-end, l’équipe de triathlon de SMO a gagné 5 médailles sur les championnats belges.
Simon De Cuyper et Tom Vander Hoogerstraete : médaille d’argent et médaille bronze (messieurs – 23 ans).

Joury Gokel et Sander Dobbelaere : médaille d’or (messieurs – 23 ans).

The past weekend, SMO won no less than 5 medals on the Belgian championship.

In the sprint triathlon in Antwerp, Simon De Cuyper and Tom Vander Hoogerstraete respectively gained silver and bronze (gentlemen -23 years old)

On the Belgian Championship long distance in Eupen, Joury Gokel and Sander Dobbelaere won gold (heren -23 years old).

With the ladies, Anne-Marie Dupont gained third place in the East of Belgium. Newcomer Hannes Vandermoere won the sprint distance the day before.

SMO congratulates all the athletes.

Start bouw nieuw atelier

Ondanks de huidige economische situatie blijft SMO niet bij de pakken zitten en vat ze de koe bij de horens.

SMO is zopas gestart met de bouw van een nieuw atelier.

Alles zal terug vanaf ontwerp in Tekla Structures tot en met de bouw en plaatsing volledig door eigen personeel worden uitgevoerd!

De einddatum van de werken zal rond juli / augustus liggen. Dit zal onze huidige capaciteit verdubbelen van 2000m² naar 4000m².Malgré la situation économique actuelle, SMO n’arrête pas à développer.

SMO a commencé la construction d’un nouvel atelier.

Dès les plans en Tekla Structures jusqu’à la construction et le placement: toutes les activités sont exécutés par notre propre personnel!

La date de fin sera autour de juillet/août. Ce nouvel atelier doublera la capacité de 2000 m² à 4000 m².Despite the recent economical climate, SMO will not rest on its laurels.

Nieuwe software: TEKLA Structures

Sinds kort heeft SMO bvba zijn software gamma uitgebreid met de aankoop van Tekla Structures.

Tekla Structures is een revolutionair Structural Building Information Modeling (SBIM) systeem voor constructeurs. Tekla Structures bevat tools voor het complete constructieve ontwerp proces voor ontwerpen, detailleren, fabriceren en monteren. Door de slimme en unieke programmatuur kan er met gemak zeer snel intelligente 3D modellen ontworpen worden, ongeacht de grootte en complexiteit.

Op deze manier wil SMO zich nog diversifieren op de markt.

Het eerste project die hierin zal worden getekend zal ons nieuw atelier van 2000m? zijn die deze zomer wordt geplaatst.

SMO genomineerd voor ”Vlaamse Jonge Ondernemer 2009”

SMO mag zich in 2009 1 van de 10 genomineerde noemen voor de “Award JCI Jonge Vlaamse Ondernemer”.
JCI is een internationale organisatie van jonge leiders en ondernemende mensen. Door hun engagement, vriendschap en het realiseren van creatieve projecten groeien zij tot toekomstgerichte ondernemers. De vier basispijlers waarrond JCI-leden evolueren zijn individu, gemeenschap, internationalisme en business.

Het tweejarig thema waar alles rond draait is Groei, Leiden, Ondernemen, een slogan waarin ieder woord zijn betekenis kent.

Hopelijk mag SMO bvba op 6 mei deze award in ontvangst nemen.
