Trencher to provide Terrain with Drainage

SMO has developed a machine to provide sports grounds with drainage: the trencher.

Two parallel slots (35-40 mm wide by max 400 mm deep) are dug into the ground using a tractor. It is also possible to dig less deep slots.

These slots are then filled with a layer of gravel or argex grain with a layer of sand on top.

Through this porous material, the water can drain faster.
