Safety and compliance are not an afterthought. We include them right from the design stage: getting a clear picture of the risks, substantiating choices and documenting everything correctly. This way, you get an installation that is correct on the shop floor and during inspections.
Machine safety & CE marking
Safety is in the design, not as an extra afterwards. We start with a risk analysis and translate it into concrete measures: shielding, interlocks, emergency stops, safe behaviour in case of breakdowns and clear instructions for operation and maintenance. Each installation is delivered with the appropriate CE documentation: technical file, manuals and declaration of conformity according to the machinery directive. We do the entire CE marking ourselves, from risk analysis to final inspection.
EN 1090 (Steel structures)
For constructions in steel, stainless steel and aluminium, we work according to EN 1090, up to execution class EXC3. This means a quality control system (FPC), certified welders, inspected equipment and full traceability. Regular checks and inspections guarantee the accuracy of technically complex constructions.
ISO 9001:2015
Our quality management system is certified for the entire operation: customised machine building, automation and technical constructions. Checks, reviews and structured communication ensure that we work efficiently and continue to improve.
VCA
Since 2016, SMO has been VCA-certified. We meet strict safety, health and environmental requirements, applied to all departments. Our employees work safely, including at your site.
