Testing & Delivery
The installation does not leave our hall until it does what was agreed.
No surprises on your shop floor
The most expensive moment to detect a fault is when your line stops. That is why we test as much as possible in our own hall, based on previously agreed criteria. We test not only whether it works, but also the scenarios that make a difference in practice: start-up and shutdown, product changes, deviations, safety functions and reset behaviour.
FAT at SMO shows that the installation is ready for transport, with results that we record in a test report. SAT at your site then confirms that everything is also correct in your context: integration with your line, utilities, peripherals and operator controls. This way, you reduce risks before the installation goes into production.
FAT Factory Acceptance Test
A full test at SMO, before the installation leaves. You come along and we go through the agreed scenarios together, using your product or test equipment where possible. You see performance, safety and operation. We record the results in a test report.
- Visual inspection and checklist
- Functional test and test run (speed, quality)
- Safety checks (interlocks, emergency stop, shielding)
SAT Site Acceptance Test
After installation at your premises, we repeat critical tests on the shop floor. We check integration with your line, utilities and peripherals, fine-tune where necessary and take operators through operation and maintenance. After your approval, the project is completed.
- Integration into your line and interfaces
- SAT check against agreed criteria
- Training of operators, technical service and cleaning crew
- Transfer: instruction and documentation
